Classh Courses

Each month I will introduce a theme under which I will prepare a series of meals. Each of these challenges will incorporate classhy concepts and be accompanied by the various recipes, tips and techniques used. By exploring outside, inside and all around the box, I plan to continue nurturing the evolution of taste, influences and the approach to cooking. Project is designed to have one Classh Course posted per week of the month.


Somethin’ on a Plate

Everyone eats food. Hence, everyone has a collection of food related stories. Be they hilarious, heart warming or just plain horrifying, food lore is always a recipe for great conversation!
With “Somethin’ on a Plate,” I will be recounting many of the (in)famous food legends amongst my family and friends. As a means of illustration I will be reinterpreting each of these anecdotes with food, then sharing the results with others in order to keep that original memory alive as well as give it a whole new chapter!
In addition, I encourage anyone who would like to share one of their favorite food stories and see it revamped through classhy cooking to PLEASE SUBMIT!


Très Frugal

As every college student, single parent and generally anyone living in today’s economy knows… times are tough. Most of us working stiffs are living paycheck to paycheck as it is without the added stress of the cost of entertaining, going out to eat or buying that fabulous new contraption you saw in the Bill Sonoma window. Within Très Frugal, I’ll be sharing my tried and true tips for still living classy even though your budget is looking a little trashy.

Forks Up

Forks Up is a motley collection of essays, restaurant reviews and musings about food and events that shape the concepts within Classy but Trashy.
